Carol Stuehm is second generation Tucsonan and attended Pima Community College earning 3 AAS degrees; 2 being in computer science. She was a cofounder of an accounting and payroll software company, launching her career in software development. She worked at America Online for 11 years doing customer support, technical support, beta testing, and software development.

Carol has worked for The University of Arizona since 2009. She started at The University of Arizona working with Terry Smith as a contractor to design and create an online tool for the Real Estate department. After that project was complete, she was enlisted to create an online application for researchers to submit appointments at the Clinical and Translational Science (CATS) center.

From there, she became a research coordinator at CATS until 2015 when she moved to the Department of Medical Imaging to continue research coordination. In this role, she created multiple REDCap databases and forms for use by investigators as well as general data collection tools.

She joined the CB2 REDCap team in 2022, and has been using her skills to create complete projects for various investigators and coordinators. Her skills are also valuable when helping to find issues with existing instruments in REDCap project.
