Join us for two half-day hands-on training in two popular statistical machine learning methods for classification and prediction. This course will enable you to perform an entirely reproducible analysis using markdown language in RStudio. Hosted by Bonnie LaFleur, PhD, Associate Director of Biomedical Informatics and Biostatistics (CB2), Research Professor for R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy, and Director of Health Outcomes & PharmacoEconomic Research (HOPE) Center.
Day 1 | "Reproducible Data Science with Quarto, RStudio, and Intro to Random Forest & Regression" is a mix of didactic and hands-on training
Day 2 | "Presenting Insights: Modeling, Visualization, and Interpretation with Statistical Machine Learning" will include presentations and feedback on group analysis projects.
Data for both days will be provided prior to the first day – earlier sign-up will be better!
