Jianrong "John" Li, Director, Strategic Informatics Initiatives, was honored on October 19, 2017 for his ongoing work with the Quality Improvement Team for The University of Arizona's Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM) . The Quality Improvement team aims to provide an ongoing study of patient services and the overall health of their patients through cyclical review of quality indicators selected by the family medicine’s quality improvement team members.
As part of this initiative, John has been regularly providing data from CB2's clinical data warehouse based on quality metric definitions, which are then compiled into a report, and presented and reviewed by each quality improvement team throughout the FCM department. This data has been essential to the improvement of the services provided by their clinic.
