Nima Pouladi, MD, PhD

Computational Researcher, Genomics

Nima Pouladi is a computational geneticist with particular skills in applying various computational and statistical methods to analyze big data mainly derived from genomics and genetic studies. Under Dr. Lussier’s supervision, he pursues his passion in science in a wide array of biological disciplines though collaboration with physicians and molecular biologists to address the computational and statistical aspects of their research. Additionally, his main research goal is to combine the results from different ‘omics data in order to uncover the hidden links among diseases and ultimately translate the findings to clinical practice.  For example, the immediate application of his research in clinical practice would be the repurposing of available treatment options for various diseases.
